Elyssa, Owner and Groomer- Having seven years in the grooming industry, I’ve dedicated my career to more than just making pets look their best—I prioritize their comfort, well-being, and overall health above all else. My passion for animals led me to discover my calling at PetSmart, where I first began my journey. From there, I transitioned to a private salon; Hair of the Dog Grooming, where I refined my skills and developed my philosophy: compassion before vanity.

I believe that every pet deserves a grooming experience tailored to their needs, even if that means adjusting my approach—whether it’s doing nails on the floor for pets who can’t stand on the table or allowing them to lay comfortably throughout the groom to create a stress-free experience.

My dedication to ongoing education brings me to the Hershey Groom Expo every year, where I deepened my love for skin and coat care. Understanding the science behind healthy skin is just as vital as mastering the perfect groom, which is why I am Science of the Skin Certified and currently completing my Certified Pet Aesthetician training through IV San Bernard. By using top-tier products and science-backed techniques, I ensure that your pet not only looks beautiful but also maintains a healthy coat and skin.
